Another Player Called on the Carpet for a Headshot
Another day, another hearing scheduled...
Patric Hornqvist has a hearing set for today for his headshot delivered to Boston Bruins rookie Tyler Seguin in the first period last night.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Too bad Tyler ducked his head right before the hit. Will Horny get suspended...yes, because he plays for Nashville and it happened against Boston. It just was an unfortunate incident. Bad time to duck your head when you see a check coming your way. The question is should he be suspended. I believe he will only get a game or two since this is his first incident. Unless they want to make an example out of him but you never know with Colin the Clown. It would be a bad time to lose your leading goal scorer as we currently are in 9th.

He should get 15 games, its is a Bruins player he hit after all and they get every suspension in they're favor. Make it an extra 10 as well for the stitches he had to receive. Next time get your head out of the way of that high elbow at full speed charge, KID!

1) His "high elbow" was tucked back in when he made contact.
2) Look at the attached chart outlining perpetrators vs. victims for suspensions since the lockout. As you can see Boston is +4. Granted this is a couple of weeks old so it does not have the Marchand suspension so I guess you are down to +3.

3) As far the stitches, his helmet is what causes them.
Like I said before, I think he will be suspended and probably should get a game or two.

No...not at all.
I just hope he only gets a couple of games. I believe that is what he deserves.

Given that he's a repeat offender he'll be getting a lot more than a $2500 fine methinks.
