you ever have a card?????
hello everyone...i just wanted to share a short story..you know how you have that one card that you cherish..and one day you have to sell it for one reason or another...well i did and had to..it was my prize piece..a 07/08 ud play makers alexander ovechkin quad patch..the sickest group of patches i ever saw..i actually bought it off of a member off of here..for a pretty penny..but well worth it..i think i missed that card more than any card i have ever owned..bought and sold...well just today i got it back!!!! after several months somehow there it was sitting in the display case at a show...needless to say it is now safe at home tucked away in my tiny collection...as long as i collect cards i will never get rid of that card again...or at least as long as i don't go broke again!!!!
oh by the way the card is numbered to 10... i must have looked at the card twenty times already....take care ..

Agreed, I'd love to see it. I have one card, my Hall Rookie Silhouette with the inscription, and no matter how broke I get I don't think I will ever sell it. Knock on wood and hope I never run into rough times, but I definitely know the feeling of having a card that is worth a lot to you.

My one card that I couldn't let go of is pretty worthless so that won't be a problem for me. 91-92 Pro-Set Nicklas lidstrom RC

I had a similar situation with an 07-08 (i think) Artifacts Hejduk 1/1 Auto... I had found it on ebay when I first started collecting and had found out the seller actually lived 3 doors down from my place! I'd come to find out too that he had a small card shop in town, and have been buying wax there ever since
Times got tough and I sold it.. regretted it ever since. Had a great story to it and helped me meet many great collectors through the original seller, and taught me a great lesson to hold on to my PC items even if times get tough. Hopefully its in a nice Avs collection!
