The response so far to playing for Team Canada has been great.

Not only are the two big Leafs D-men signed on, but so are Rick Nash, Jason Spezza, Chris Stewart, Andrew Ladd and Matt Duchene, with Tavares just waiting to get the okay from the Isles. That's some decent firepower up front, with more to come possibly from Dallas and Carolina. This has the makings of a team that can compete much more than last year's squad.

I think I'm one of the few who enjoys this much more than the World Juniors, possibly because this one matters more outside our own borders. I'm looking forward to seeing these guys play together.

You'd think Jeff Skinner would be going, also. He's had a fantastic year.

I was planning, last year, to go to this but I cannot afford it :(

My guess is that they'll go after Skinner and a couple of other Hurricanes now that they've been eliminated.

They could certainly use Staal up front, but I think the big need there is Cam Ward. It would be great to get a star-quality goaltender between the pipes for what is shaping up as a good team.

They should all be on TSN.......looks like Canada's games are at 10:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. ET, so at least there aren't any 4 a.m. games.

I'm excited about the tournament. With the playoffs going on at the same time, it's like hockey heaven.

Today they've added Evander Kane and Cal Clutterbuck.

If we can get Skinner, Staal and Ward from the 'Canes then I will be very excited about this team. Probably hoping for a little too much there, but even two of three would be great!
