    Ultra and MVP

    How come they haven't produce those 2 products this years? (2010-11)
    Any one knows?

    just cutbacks i believe...those weren't very high demand products and they are limited on how many they produce so they scratched them...same thing with ICE...thats why they are thrown in other boxes...simply cutbacks...at least thats what i think

    Also, they were only allowed to feature each player a limited number of times within the set (inserts & parallels included). Of course, when they lifted that provision we all saw what happened. Pacific went nuts with parallels.

    This explains a lot -- I had no idea of the background there; just that in 2000-01 my checklist exploded with a TON of new cards out there, and a dozen colours of every card.

    Thanks for the history lesson for those of us who weren't "in the know" back then!
