First off Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone has a great holiday!

Non-baseball/football pick ups

John Glenn - sent 2 photos to his address at the college he works at on 10/24/2011. Received them both signed on 12/24/2011.

Piper Laurie - sent 2 photos to 12400 Ventura Blvd #411, Studio City, CA 91604 on 11/28/2011 and received them signed on12/19/2011.

William Gadsby - sent a Donruss Sports Legends GU card to him on 3/3/2011 and thought this one was gone. Received it back on 12/19/2011 along with a photo he included signed and inscribed with his HoF year.

Henry Winkler - sent an Americana relic card on 11/28/2011 and received it back signed on 12/19/2011.



Picked up most of these cards (mainly the 89 Topps via Obed, ragtop and other trades). Only TTM successes were Jeff Lageman, Sammie Smith and Jeff Uhlenhake.

89 Topps pushes me almost to 500 for the set



Finally I got a Hambone for my collection. Sent an 09 A&G c/o Rangers ST and received it back signed on 12/21/2011.

Micah Ownings - sent a 10' Hertiage c/o the Reno Aces when he was with the team earlier in the year. Received it back on 12/22/2011. Actually wrote this one off.

Billy Sims - Found a UD Goodwin card and decided to send it on 12/5/2011 and received it on 12/24/2011. He included 2 drink coupons.

Adam Dunn - saw an address on another site and thought I would try it. Glad I did as he signed a Turkey Red card in 12 days.

Brooklyn Dodgers - so I took another chance on this card that I had previously gotten 7 previous players to sign it. Sent to Joe Pignatano
on 12/9/2011 and received it back signed on 12/19/2011 and he included a signed index card. Glad I took the gamble!



Went by the local card shop this afternoon to pick up a few supplies and picked up 2 packs of 2010 Sweet spot football. Pulled this one:

I love that Dodger's card. I can't tell if you already have them because the pic is small, but Ed Roebuck and Ed Stevens sign for free and are automatic. Don Zimmer also signs for free though some people speculate his wife is the actual signer though I disagree when I compare TTM to JSA. I also got Newcombe for free about a year ago, but he's a bigger risk.

Thanks for the info. I found another Dodgers card and sent it out (well put it in the box today) so hopefully in a few months I can have another nicely signed card of former players.
