Is ITG licensed by NHL?
A bit confused about In The Game (ITG) are they licensed by the NHL? According to their website they are. They said they do not have a NHLPA license. So I understand no active player sets. However how come if they are NHL license why can't the enshrined hall of fame cards show team logos for the retired NHL players? Saw some of the cards on eBay and the cartoon cards remind me of sports kings.
If you have a NHL license shouldn't they let you show retired players in their uniforms with team logos and names? Or is their website wrong and they dont have a NHL license either

Could be wrong but as far as I know, ITG lost its NHLPA license during the lockout season in 2004-05.
One thing I would like to know is what ITG can and cannot use on their cards.

ITG does not have an NHL license. I don't know where on their site it would say such a thing.
