    Question Help with consignment prices?

Guess I can post it here since it is about IP autos....I'll be graphing at an upcoming event and am planning on taking consignments for most of the guys that I've already gotten. How would you guys set your prices? I'm looking to set prices on:

Jermaine Dye on card-------$20 sound too much?
Bruce Jenner on a flat-----$15 too low?
    Jan Stenerud----$10?
    Rollie Fingers-----$15?
    Joe Morgan (Reds)-----$25? $30?
    Goose Gossage----$15?

I'm new to consignments, since I mainly do 50/50s or have my own items already...

    These sound fair?

Are you providing the item to be signed? Are you paying for the shipping? Or are you asking for people to send you an item, send you the SASE, and then pay you to go to a free autograph event and get something signed for them?

It would be them sending either cards or photos and an SASE and I'm wondering how much I should charge....

And NO, I'm not taking any items for this event, its already filled, just need help with setting prices for those already interested...

Well, if it is a free signing, I don't think that you should charge more than $5 for any of them. Basically, if it is a free signing, you are doing someone a service, but outside of your time, you are not doing very much. I don't believe you should ask for more money.

This. How you pay the bills is your business, but I think gouging people for free signings is a bad idea.

That's why I usually 50/50 rather than consign these events.

Gouging people? I'm not gonna charge like $5 you know.

And what if you don't want to 50/50 the person? But someone needs a photo done or something?
