Best shot would have to Leinart, like it was mentioned earlier the Pac 10 D's are so bad. A somewhat biased opinion would be Lawrence Maroney from the U of Minn. Barber III is gone and for the past two seasons they both eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark. Maroney will be getting carry after carry this season for that reason and they have absolutely no one at the QB position.

    james-

It was announced about a month ago that Brandon planned to transfer... I haven't heard where he ended up yet. He played in two games last year - I believe they were at the Rover Position, which was the rough equivalent of a safety. He originally was on the RB depth chart, but we were pretty solid at running back ahead of him and they wanted to try him out on defense. He came into the spring as 3rd Team DB and made an interception in the spring game, but decided to transfer last month (I imagine so he could get more playing time at a smaller school).

I cant believe everyone is picking Vince Young, he had one great game, that doesnt turn you into a Heisman candidate. A lot of people forget that he actaully struggled early in the season and almost lost his starting job. He would have to play like he did in the Rose Bowl nearly every game to win the Heisman and with the kind os schedule Texas has (@ Ohio State, Oklahoma, @ Oklahoma State and @ Texas A&M) thats gonna be tough. I think Bush will win it because he can do everything, opposing defenses are more scared of him then they are of Leinhart, and it also helps he is in a soft confernce.

    1. Reggie Bush
    2. Adrian Peterson
    3. Matt Leinhart
