Thinking about a starting a new PC player

Give Me some ideas.

Looking for a player or goalie that has reasonable price cards. Has at least a few jerseys and autos put out each year to keep things interesting to collect. rookie year maybe from 2003-present.

Was thinking maybe Steve Downie. <--- sort of like a Gary Roberts Player
or Ryan Malone

For goalies maybe Backstrom or lehtonen. Rinne might be to $$?

Any ideas will be great.

I'd go with maybe Brooks orpik. He got to play for team USA last year, he's a solid physical player, his cards are pretty inexpensive, plus he's on the pens :)

for a goalie, I'd go with Craig Anderson, or as you said Nicklas backstrom from the wild.

Tuukka's a good one. Rinne is the best value. $8 BV for his premium rookie cards is just crazy. Guy can goaltend.

If you go Lehtonen, I have a 2c UD Patch/15, if needed.

Good to see Backstrom getting some love here. He'd be a good choice, but also maybe consider Halak and Roloson. Also, some good rookie/younger netminders would be Niemi, Varlamov, Neuvirth, Crawford, Lindback and Enroth. Bobrovsky's just too overpriced/overwhelming in my opinion.
