You've had the badge just over a week, lol. I hope you don't abandon Talbot. Same with Jason. I don't see you guys doing that anyway. You can't get that "complete" and just throw it away.

No, I will still be collecting him....it just hurts now to see him in orange and black. He must have been off his meds when he agreed to going to the Flyers.....or has a SERIOUS head injury!

Hugh and I both knew he was leaving. And I said from the get go there are 27 other teams I will still cheer for him without a doubt. Exceptions being easy guesses - Caps and Flyers. Man oh man did it hurt to read he became a Flyer today.

I can't blame him though 5 years for 9M - better than what the Pens offered.

And after the initial what to do talk with myself, like Hugh, I am sticking by my player. After all, I picked him above the rest to be my first player collection for a reason, so my loyalty to the player trumps loyalty to the team (so-to-speak - I hope he scores against the Pens every time we play the Flyers - just that the Pens win the game!)

Well Said. Im rooting for Talbot to do good in Philly (but not win a cup there, sorry!) And I hope like Jason stated, he scores @ every game, but the Penguins always Prevail!!

I'll always remember the 2009 Finals game 7 when Talbot scrored the lone 2 goals in the Penguins 2-1 victory. Not to mention the Fleury save at the last second to save the game.

Oh, the memories......

Yep - I think those things will always be remembered. I don't think the fans will boo him at all when Philly comes to Pitt for the first time next season right after Christmas.

Although it will be hard to tell because Jagr (if he's healthy and playing) will be getting booed so loudly,
