k-state is usually overrated - they are always talented but usually get high in the rankings in years past by beating people like southwest missouri state 66-0
i am a big 12 fan though and glad to see 3 of the top 5 teams there - i just hope UT and OU stay up there so the red river shootout will be another good one
Others recieving votes: North Texas 1 wahooooo top 25 here we come. Can you say Sun Belt Champs & New Orleans Bowl Champs haha

Don't be surprised if Georgia makes a run for the title. Everyone is writing them off because the lost 3 starting Linebackers (Boss Bailey, Tony Gilbert, and Chris Clemons) but the three that are replacing them could be just as good or better according to Mark Richt. He says that they are faster than last years group also. Their only question mark is the offensive line. They lost their whole line last year but they have Sophomore Max-Jean-Giles (6'6 345 ibs) anchoring at Tackle.
Look for a heisman year for QB David Greene.

D-Train, you make some good points. The dawgs o-line might be better this year than last, and the linebackers all(i think) run 4.5 or lower, so they are faster. Marquis Elmore and Odell Thurman will make a HUGE impact this year as freshman(i might be wrong on the freshman thing)The defense could be better and the offense will be better than last years team, which lead the SEC in both categories.

hey D-train, have you heard how good Lumpkin is doing? he might be the best freshman back at uga since #34, which is a big reason why i think are offense will be better even though we lost Musa, who was not a good back in my oppinion.
