One of the members on here posted that he met Gretzky one time and had about 9 base cards for Guppy to sign. Gretzky signed all of them except the Topps Sweater Card. Apparently he said he wouldn't sign that one for whatever reason.

I seem to recall that he he signed a limited number of those, way back in the day, for some kind of charity - with the promise that they were the only 10, or 25, or 99 (or whatever) of those that he would sign.

i thought the story was that the only signed versions were held by his kids.
