Too good to be true? Buying a wholesale lot of MLB authenticated Auto'ed baseballs
Need some second opinions on this before I throw in my money to buy a wholesale lot from a person selling a lot of autographed baseballs and 1-2 jerseys. He said they're MLB authenticated. And that each baseball has an MLB hologram and code letter/number assigned to it. I checked almost every code and letter ON the MLB Authentication website. They all match.
However, I'm not sure if this deal is too good to be true. It's roughly around 75-85 autographed baseballs AND 1 - 2 autographed jerseys for $3,000 - $4,000.
And some of the baseball players names include:
Cole Hamels
Ivan Rodriguez
Ichiro Suzuki
Josh Hamilton
David Wright
David Price
Barry Zito
Andruw Jones
Derek Jeter
Shane Victorino
Miguel Cabrera
Jimmy Rollins
Adam Wainwright
Matt Holliday
Roy Halladay
Evan Longoria
Curt Schilling
Cliff Lee
Ken Griffey Jr.
and a few others.

So what's your opinion?
I don't think I did anything wrong. By saying I'd take it I'm giving the feedback that it sounds ok and I'd do it. And if he isn't going to do the deal I don't see how me wannting it is wrong. Its not I'm trying to steal the buy from him.

Actually, I have taken the offer but I'm still planning to sell some to you or anyone who may be interested in these. It will take a while to set up, not to forget taking tons of pictures and posting them on my photobucket. I'll let you know when I have these items in my possession. Thanks for your interest.

It's ok, he was just being brutally honest. Doesn't hurt to ask.

If everything matches you should be in the clear,
You should send them an email just to make sure what you are buying is not a fake.
It seems like a hell of a deal

Agreed. Definitely a deal! Have already talked with the guy for the past couple of days. He's being as honest as he can. Nice guy but still going to be cautious about it. He has proven to me he's a good seller and has a good reputation online. So I know I'm not being scammed.
Would anyone like to see the list of players? I have already made some arrangements to someone on this site who is interested in these baseballs as well. First come, first serve.

Sadly, I have taken some more offers and we have sweetened the deal. So instead of buying the lot close to $3,000.... I got it for almost $3,500-$4,000.
Just a few more other stuffs added but will keep some personally for myself.
