Hi All! New here and to cards!

Well lets start with a hello! I am from BC Canada and have never really gotten into collectables as a hobby but have decided to help an aged friend with the process of sorting and getting rid of his entire collection.

I cant remember the last time my eyes hurt so bad! Trying to read dates on some of these things, and then the endless searching for info on them, you guys have skills! Ive learned a bit along the way, but am getting rather intrigued by them, and am looking to learn more (and sell these of course).

I found the site when searching for info on a hockey card in particular I have (and still didnt find much, just that someone was looking for it) and am glad I stumbled across this place :)

Havent counted the cards, but there has got to be 1000's for sure. Just sorted out them a bit thus far. Everything from the 70's to early 00's. Yikes!

LOTS of baseball ones too, but have yet to even start going through those!

Sounds like you have quite a task on your hands there. If you need info on certain cards you can post questions in the forums. We have lots of knowledgable members who may be able to help. We also have our inventory system you can use to help catalog your stuff. If you have any questions about the site you can PM me or any other staff member. We are always happy to help out if needed. Hello buddy, welcome to the site ! Hopefully you can start collecting some yourself once youve sold all of your friends :)

If seems you do have a big task on your hands, and i hope you find some rare cards ... my best advice would be to group the cards into teams and then years, and then try to sell them on this forum ! Im sure people will be being them from yourself

Thanks everyone! I snapped pics of each box as I went through them, and there is a huge part of me that for some reason wants an exact number of how many cards are actually here.
