    New guy here from the Burgh

    Hello all, let me start off by saying that i DO NOT LIKE the Steelers. I've been collecting on and off for 25 years and recently got back into it(not sure why). I say that because the hobby has changed dramatically, and imo, not in a positive direction. The kid in me still likes being as close to the game(s) i love as possible, so i guess that's my major reason for being a collector.

    I've been reading these boards for quite awhile, mostly because i truly do enjoy seeing others good fortune busting packs/boxes. As collectors, we all know that tingly feeling of pulling a sweet card! Looking forward to meeting some good people and making a few trades here and there.

    I guess that's it for now, don't wanna get too winded typing or i may veer off and start ranting on how i feel about the state of today's cards and companies. Don't want my first post moved to the rants section lol.

    Thanks for the welcome folks, greatly appreciated.

    I'm about 30 miles north in the Evans City/Mars area. I'm a transplant, been here for 2+ years and absolutely love this area.

    And let me add, although i don't like the Steelers, i do love me some Buccos!!! Raise the Jolly Roger!!

    Probably a good thing i don't like the Steelers, as i've noticed most people's trade lists are low on Steelers lol. Must be a ton of PGHers here.

    Very cool. I live in the Lower Burrell/New Kensington area. My girlfriend is near Mars, she lives up in Saxonburg. Anywhere around the Pittsburgh area is great to live. Lots of culture, and you can't beat the cost of living around here. Where are you originally from?
