Awesome event today! B-Dawk was the man. People in line around me were really cool and we passed the time greatly talking about a bunch of stuff from sports to autographing. I was probably in the 20-30 range people wise and got there around 2:30. Gambled a little and got into line. Big Daddy was there and I talked to him briefly, which was cool because I do listen to his show from time to time. Highlight of the day was without question the dealer who freaked out when it was personalization only. He was demanding that Dawkins only sign his autograph and not his name, and the security guard standing watch was like “Either you tell B-Dawk your name or you wasted three hours of your time waiting”. It was pretty sharp, and I'm not sure if the guy waited out because he went out of my sight as I was round the loop.
Also the lady that had the seat from that Vet was the coolest piece I saw today, really great stuff.

Yea for the price it was well worth almost the 4 hour wait except for the crazy ladies behind me and Philly4for4 in line that were about to have a heart attack everytime someone mentioned Dawkins name. And yea there is no way they accomidated everyone that showed up. When i went out they were telling people in back of the line and making announcements you are not guaranteed an autograph if you get in line now. They even extended it to 6:30. So an extra 30 mins because it wrapped around the entire building.
But as usual dawk was cool. And if i knew about the whole personalization i probably wouldn't of brought my helmet to get signed that already has vick on it but its cool. Its not like im going to sell it or trade it like most people in line.
There were many people i know as i was leaving that were aggravated with that ordeal that you must get your item made out to someone. That was the casinos way to weeding out the dealers and making people don't make a profit on a free signing of an Eagles legend whose autos are going for crazy money on ebay. And sucked about no posed photos but my gf tried to get some nice shots but all came out blurry except one. Was nice to see meet some of the fellow board members. here is my pics from the event

Sounds like everyone did pretty good at the Dawkins signing yesterday. I like that sugarhouse gets guys in there to sign and that they are free signings. I also like that they made him personalize everything as it will weed out some people but I can tell you right now most of the dealers that have been around for awhile can get the personalization off of just about anything.

i went to dawkins event yesterday at sugarhouse as well. got there around 4:15 and there was a huge line, i was by the bar in the middle of the casino by the roulette tables. b-dawk extended his time there by 30 mins and by 6:25 i was still hadnt gotten to the main restaurant area where he was sitting. there was still at least 50 people in front of me but likely a few hundred still behind. security did come up to us around 6 that where we were standing there was a good chance we wouldnt make it. anyways at 6:30 he stopped signing because he had the dinner with the VIP's in that restaurant. many were disappointed but sugarhouse gave out "Snuggies" to fans as a consolation gift. some fans tried to buy the VIP passes as they were guaranteed a signature. i hung around and recognized a VIP, offered $ to see if he could get my football signed. luckily he did and didnt charge me anything, really cool move!!

Since it is Philly Ink, Thought I'd share this story before posting it on my success forum.
Went to the Browns vs Eagles today in Cleveland and got there kinda late. Literally got to the tunnel area about 10 minutes before signing was over. A few Eagles had came by and signed. I believe # 51 Jamar Chaney signed according to one kid. But I got even luckier. As my uncle and I were about to head out, all of a sudden comes Eagles Ring of Honor member Mike Quick. 5x Pro Bowler, 2x All Pro Wide Receiver...and oh yeah, Holder of the NFL Record for longest touchdown reception. Man was a great receiver and turns out, nicer guy. Normally people need to hoot and holler for a person's attention, I asked...not even yelling, from the stands if he could sign. He smiled and said "Sure." Walked over and signed for like 5 of us. Signed my Eagles vs. Raiders HOF game shirt. Awesome day!
