Sportsbuy.com a better alternative than Ebay?
I recently came across this site and I'm really liking what I see. No fees for listing, buy it nows, fixed listing times, etc.. Free store front... They only charge a final value fee if your card sells .35 + 2.99 % which is a lot better than Ebay's 9 %. Has any one sold anything over there? What was your experience like? Would you recommend selling @ SB rather than Ebay? Not sure how popular it is but if anything the only possible disadvantage I see is that your cards may not gain as many views/bids as Ebay. However, I'm not too concerned about that considering the free exposure and cheaper FV fees...
Any way, please feel free to comment.
Thanks!

checkoutmycards.com is the best alternative I've found from eBay, I use it all the time.

Kipper I did check out that site as well but don't like the idea of sending your cards to them so they can ship it for you. If I change my mind and want to trade it etc, you can not easily take the card down rather, you have to wait for them to ship it back. Also, I'd rather have my cards in my possession until they sell. Just my personal preference.
Appreciate your input though!

This site actually looks promising. Takes a second to figure out the navigation, but once you get it, it's a very easy site to go through.
I'm also curious to see if anyone else here has used it.

That's the same problem I have with COMC. It is a good site to buy from though, and seems to work for many on both sides of the transaction.

Sportsbuy has been around for the better part of at least 10 years - it's formerly naxcom. For hockey it is absolutely dead - I had an account at one time and never got a single hit or offer on any hockey stuff. The site tends to be very slow and laggy and just all around cumbersome. As others have said COMC is the next best alternative to ebay and will stay that way for the foreseeable future.

I'd have no problem buying from COMC but selling would be quite annoying.

As a buyer, I love checkoutmycards.com. You can pick up many cards and pay one shipping price. My most recent order was 23 cards. Most eBay sellers charge $2 - $3 for shipping, so I figure I saved myself betweem $30 - $55 in shipping.
I too, have shied away from COMC for selling because I don't like the idea of selling on consignment. At least with eBay, you retain posession of your cards until they sell. However, if I wsas looking to list base cards, parallels, or other low value stuff. I might take a shot with COMCHidden Content
