How would you sell this card?
So long story short I made a trade with someone on another site.
The card that I am getting in return is a Jerome Iginla 2008-09 McDonald's auto /25.
I know that the cards are rare and sell for a good amount of money. I am just curious as to how much would you think that it should go for?
Would you list as a set price with a BIN and Best Offer or just start is fro $0.99 and let it ride.
The guy was doing a set of UD Ice auto/jerseys /35 and I had a Crosby that I traded him. He offered me a Hall YG, Ennis BAP rc /99 and the Iginla so I know that I am coming out ahead.
The Iginla is not PC for me so I do not need it and I assume that selling would work better than trading it.
Any idea what price you think that it should fetch?
Thanks for any help.
Jeff

Iginla is in slump.
Regardless, I'd start it at $29.99 with a BIN of $69.99. Stress the Rarity, and find out the Pull Ratio if you can.
McDonald's cards in 99-00 with a SP to #/25 were over 1:3,500 packs. Might be worthwhile trying to find out the pull ratio.

Ummmmm, it could be someone who'd never had Iginla's stats to begin with who was in a slump, it'll go for more than $69.99.........I collect these things and the LAST thing I wanna do is pay more, but I'd be shocked if it didn't go for less than $80-125...............hugs!!!

<<<<Iggy collector. So he's not having the season of his life, big whoop. Hasn't affected my collecting at all. Its not very often you see the SP cards from Mcd's in the first place, so I wouldnt go less than a BIN of $125. If I could afford to buy it, trust me I would at that price.

Those McD's cards can fetch a really good price.
List it for $250, or best offer on eBay (IMO).

If there's two McDonald's set builders out there that need this card, they will pay a premium for it. There was a dude that recently had a Price posted up at $450 OBO and he declined at least 3 offers, all of which I assume were significantly higher than the standard $35 that a scarce Price auto will fetch these days.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Yeah.
My suggestion of $250 may be low-balling it.
Sticking $400 on it.... and seeing what you get..... may not be a bad idea. Maybe someone will offer half that, maybe they'll hit the buy it now. Never know.
Either way these cards are VERY hard to get, and there are set builders out there that will likely go bananas for it.

Sounds like you need a lot of patience, but it will pay out if you wait it out long enough.

Thanks a lot for the advice so far guys. If you have any more keep it coming.
If I was to list it at $400 with Best Offer what price would you accept it at?
I am now thinking $200 and I am not in any rush or need to move it.

Create a reserve. It's a good way to determine what you can receive for a card. Most people are less inclined to bid on a card with a reserve, so when the bidding is done, assume you'll receive slightly more than what it ended for if you listed it with no reserve.
