14-year old sex changes in MA
They are starting to inject kids as early as 7-years old with drugs to prepare them for sex changes in Boston, MA. Here is a story of a 14-year old twin that got a sex change.

So, if you spank your kid you go to jail. Cut of your kid's penis and turn him into a boy and you are celebrated in the Boston Globe.
What if the boy was simply gay? Should the boy be allowed to wait until he was 18 to make the decision for himself?

That is disturbing. There is no way that a kids of that age can make life-changing decisions like this and it is abhorrent that parents would do this to their kids.

Agree. Consenting adults should be able to do whatever they want with their own bodies. The choices they make weather good, bad or indifferent will ultimately be judged by their god. However I believe that parents should be parents and a child is not capable of making such a life altering decision at such an early age.Drug and smoke free trading.

I agree. A choice such as this should not be left to a 14 year old.

A couple of thoughts on this:
1) to the OP: if you cut off your kid's penis, I doubt you will be changing HIM into a boy, more likely a girl.
2) This article is terribly slanted and one-sided.
3) I would be interested to hear what the doctors performing the treatment say is the reason behind the decision to begin this so early.

hmm... I'd be curious to hear what made the doctors perform the treatment. I guess now I'm wondering if this sort of thing should be a case by case type of thing. Maybe me saying no 14 year old should be allowed to make this decision was not as black and white.

It is not a 14 year old making this decision. The injections start as early as 7 years old. This is a view of a 14 year old that has already gone through many years of injections.

hmm.. so obviously the parents pushed for this? I wonder what caused that. A seven year old is hardly developed into the person they are going to be. seems like a jump of the gun in my opinion.
