Should this be allowed? You tell me
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/10-11-Luxury-...item1e692c160f
We all know this photo was used in the preview for Luxury Suite and is not an actual card. The auto is no where close to Hall's actual sig anyways. I saw this and the high price it was at, and asked the seller for the actual picture. He was French and I had a tough time communicating with him, but the jist of it was he was listing a friends card and he was at "the chalet" for the week whatever that is, and would talk to him to get the picture. Then it went down hill, he said he doesnt know, and he cant say anymore. When I said you need to have the actual picture, because people are bidding on it and its not even real, if he does have the card, the actual photo of it needs to be on the listing, or else it is misleading. He then did the mature thing in the situation, and spoke in french back to me, thinking I cant read it. I am not dumb, and the jist of it I am guessing is not the nicest, if anyone knows french, they can interpret:
ecoute moé bin le cave...qu est ce que tu comprends pas dans la photo est une original pris ici meme et scanner ensuite....saint ciboire de tata ca prends pas le cerveau d einstein pour comprendre ca messemble
So I ended up reporting the listing. Just really annoys me that there are people on ebay like this that do this. He will probably get away with it too. I hate to see people bidding on a card that isnt even a physical card. If they do indeed have that card from the set, who knows what the patch is. People are bidding on it thinking it will be a sick 4 colour patch. I just hope the listing gets removed or the buyer gets a refund and leaves negative to teach them a lesson. Those are my thoughts, thought Id share.

Here is a translation of your message, according to Google:
"Listen Moe the cellar bin ... that is what you see in the picture is not an original taken here and then scan .... ciborium of tata ca not take the brains of Einstein to understand that messemble"
Not all the words translate, but you get the jist of it.Hidden Content

Here is an actual translation... "Listen to me you idiot...what don't you understand. The picture is original and was taken here with a scanner.... jesus christ it seems to me it doesn't take a genius to get that."

The dude obviously knows English... His listing title uses a market-specific American idiom ("sick patch"). Quebeçois or not, his eBay ID is NOT French ("toewsfan1978") and his description is also good albeit broken English: "A sick Taylor Hall rc auto patch 4 colour", "The shipping include tracking number + assurance". I don't care what anyone says, there isn't a translator app online or on paper that will give you the English "sick patch" as a translation for ANYTHING.
Just some thoughts from your friendly neighborhood US Navy linguist :)

I see how you can think he knows alot of english, but if you read my other messages it was definitely broken english that I was recieving form him. Either way, his language isnt being scrutinized here, his blatent lie about it being a real card that he scanned is lol. I just posted his french message because I knew a fellow french speaker would know what it meant to see exactly what he said, which turned out to be a lie, and he is just a great addition to ebay lol

The second one seems more likely to me. Who hasn't called someone Moe the cellar bin at one time or another?
