$500 ticket

got a picture of me in the mail from a intersection along with a ticket for $500. the ticket is for running a red light, except the pictures clearly show me turning right on a red, with no "no turn on red" sign anywhere. I make a point to never run red lights and dont care much for people that do, as its become the norm around here. I have had 2 friends killed from people running red lights. Im going to show up in court and fight it. Im going today or tomorrow to take pictures of the intersection and all the signs. its shows me stopped, right where I should be behind the crosswalk. next pic shows me making the right turn.

Yeah, fight the ticket. If your system works like ours up here. Simply showing up will convince the judge to throw the ticket out in most cases.

This particular camera flashes at no partcular time, just constantly. I htink they just sift through pictures hoping to peg someone.

California is broke, so this doesn't surprise me. From the way that you worded it, you should have no problems winning this.

If you didn't come to a complete stop, then the camera catches that as a "running a red light"

i'd suggest sending a letter in with your appeal. explain the details, ask them to look at their pics again and i will definitely help to include your own pics.
this worked for me and i got a ticket thrown out w/o having to show up to court. i politely explained that i would be dissapointed to miss a day of work to go to court but i would if dispute it if i had to because i knew i was right.
