smith: just to add my two cents, your prices are very low. However I dont see anybody sending thier cards to you guys when they can send them to Beckett, PSA, etc. Although it is a very nice thing you guys are doing, nobody has heard of your grading service. Again not attacking you just adding my two cents

    Thanks

    Its not a grading service

It's an evaluation service which asseses the grade it would receive when you send it to a major card grading company. So you don't get a card graded a worthless 6 or 7 for a $20 slab.

    I fully understood.
It's just that many grading specials are in the $5 range. Even if you don't get a 9-10 Cheap authentication, and encasement ;)

I've seen grading as cheap as $1.99 and encapsalation for $.99. I'm still curious about my previous questions.

    thanks.

I'm not going to comment, except...
Have you checked the specials the grading companies run?

the "Links" link only works while your on one page.

    Good luck.

    Easy Big Fella!!
I have always offered a great deal of "Food for thought" type points to these types of threads, I actually tried to point out some concerns & ideas in another of your threads.
Having been in business for many years I have seen, read & been faced with a myriad of "Business Planning" problems. Don't go gung-ho with an idea, then get mad at sound opinions/advice after the fact. Hindsight is always 20/20, But questions, research & developement can put things in focus beforehand ;)

I did have some constructive criticism, but figured if you wanted it you'd ask, so I simply stated I'm not going to comment, until I noticed a broken link( is that so bad?)
Then thinking like a consumer, I read your sites mission statement(Actually your views of grading & their results), and thought you had better re-review what is actually offered by the major grading companies because you might want to tweak the wording. Also, since you mention pricing, you may want to include total costs. EG: I couldn't figure my total bill...Shipping & Insurance to and from, with desired service fee's.

That's all, life is not a game to me. I didn't mean any harm.

    I truely wish you...Good Luck & Prosperity.

Oh, cardguards touched on some key points.

With the prices of companies, what you should do is just charge for shipping both ways and then charge like a dollar for your time per card. That's what I would do.

    hey, meuandthelot.

sorry, didn't mean anything by it. Please feel free to criticize. Again, I'm a straightforeward person. If you have something to say that you think will help me out, let me know.

    Thanks.
