I was there when....the hockey version!

I'm not sure if this has been posted in this forum recently, so if it has I apologize. I saw a similar thread in the baseball forum and figured it would be a cool topic. What are some memorable games you have attended in the past? As a Sabres season ticket holder, I've actually missed a couple of the more exciting games in recent years (Game 5 of the 06-07 playoffs against the Rangers come to mind)

However I was lucky enough to be at the Sabres line brawl game against the Senators that same year. Was a crazy night to be sure.

What are some of your favorites?

I was there when the Habs clinched first in the East in the last game of the 2007-08 season. Carey Price was awesome in winning his 24th game of the year (1st among all rookies), Josh Gorges beat up Darcy Tucker, and my name was on the jumbotron for my 27th birthday. The Bell Centre was absolutely rocking that night and there was a fantastic feeling going into the playoffs.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I was there for the only junior game that had 4 fights, a home-team-player's hat trick and the game tying goal waived off at the end of the third for being half a second late and was still the most boring game I've ever seen live in my life. That includes all levels of minor hockey.

I was there in 96' in Montreal at game # 3 of the World Cup. I watched as Curtis Joseph completely choked and fell apart while up 2-1 late in the 3rd and lose the game 5-2. Watching Brian Leetch do laps around the ice with the MVP trophy still makes me queasy.

On a high note I met all the players from both sides at the hotel hours before the game (No Messier or Gretzky though)

I was there the night this happened:

My ticket and program lineup card:

Tough to beat arguably the greatest moment in Stanley Cup Finals history.

I was at Maple Leaf Gardens the night the lowest attendance on record ever for a Leaf Game in the history of Maple Leaf Gardens.

It was the night the Blue Jays won win their 2nd World Series. The Leafs were playing the Capitals and the attendance was 7,200.

    The place was deserted.

I was at the Leafs game where Mats Sundin broke the all time goals and points record for a leaf in the same night. The crowd got pretty loud that night.
