They assume the truth of what they believe, and are determined to find divine sanction for their beliefs in their holy book. I think that these Christians would be better off defending their ideas on their own merits, but I quite honestly doubt they are capable of it. Perhaps they doubt themselves too, and that's why they don't try.

This person is obviously anti christian and not only that, but thinks he is better and smarter than them.

does the book that the church put together and hand pick have slavery in it, of course. these people were not only racists but sexist and hand picked what was to go into the book.

all christians do not follow the church, and in fact, most early christians despised the church. again we have man messing things up, surprise, surprise!
