I'll always love it when people say the Canucks lost in the first round. They, to this point not including the Devils, have faired the best against the Kings by far, just saying. They are on a hot streak, and it looks like no one will stop them.

As already explained a billion times, Canucks fans are more open-eyed after this season about who the better goalie is. Who played Boston, in Boston, and won? Who played the final games of the Playoffs, and phenomenally at that? Who's ALWAYS shown poise, class, and calmness when needed? It's a pretty simple answer.

Luongo is simply not a playoff goalie. The problem is is that he normally lets in a bad goal that is a huge momentum changer, and that's what allows teams to be successful in the playoffs: momentum.

Canucks played the 7th game a year ago like scared children. If 2 or 3 had answered the call, then Luongo would not have been blamed. Bieksa was the only Canuck who sweated in that 7th game, the other players didn't get a wrinkle in their Jerseys. There were 19 Passengers on the Canucks bus when they lost the 7th game.

Pretty sure the Canucks outshot and outhit the Bruins in game 7.... Let's see: Shots: 37-21 VAN
    Hits: 47-29 VAN
    FO: 29-26 BOS
Canucks had 2 more giveaways, but 4 more takeaways
Boston had 1 more blocked shot.

Clearly the team played like scared children. Clearly.

Luongo let in a ton of bad goals that series. Game 4 was brutal, but also the 3rd goal in game 7 and the 1st goal of game 7 (the lack of effort, he skates standing up across rather than actually going to the butterfly like most goalies would've).

Look at Luongo in the finals: too caught up in post game media
Look at Thomas this year: too caught up in post game media

What do both of them have in common during those?
They played worse when involved it the extra curricular stuff.

Good gawd man, they lost the Stanley Cup and you STILL defend their behaviour with worthless comments like the way a goaltender plays the position?

Let it go. Your team did not play like a team. They lost because of a lack of effort. Just admit it. The Canucks never showed that they had the Horses to win that last game. Not one bloody shift.
