    Rice is GV 46520

    Young is GV 118325

Please let me know if you guys think these are legit, there auto's look real to me, based on what I have seen from on card auto's, mainly SCF members, and ebay auctions. I would like to sell them, but don't know the proper value.

As I said in our PMs, I'll put all the money I've got on me on the Young being fake. Doesn't look anything close to me. Plus, he always writes out "HOF 2005", never just "HOF '05".

Figures. Any thoughts on who to contact about this? It pisses me off, since the LCS owner guaranteed it to be Authentic. I am disgusted.

I emailed the company that has the cert files, and here is the answer/reply.

    Jay,

The Rice mini is a very old signature of his and judging by the number on this GAI cert this thing was certified in 2003/2004 and is genuine. The split in his J and the funky looking Rice that looks more like Rue is absolutely genuine.

The Young signature in our opinion is not a genuine example and you are incorrect about Mr. Young as he does in fact write HOF '05 at times as our staff has had items signed by him in that manner.

GAI went out of business in 2009 and since our company is not that entity nor did we have any vested ownership in that entity there is not much that we would be able to do for you other than possibly re-certify your Rice mini helmet for you.

    Regards,

I'd love to see an authenticated example of a Young with "HOF '05". I've never seen one and even looked around for one.

This is odd, Young's box says St Louis Rams by the Barcode, and the Rice says San Diego Chargers on the Barcode.

And the COA's say Copyright 2004. For both. What does that mean guys?

Has anyone bought anything from Dugout Legends or know anything about their reputation/COAs?
