Thanks for letting me know, Enigma. I don't think we should make it a Adults only forum because it would take the chance of trading and improving our personal collections away from younger kids like me. The betting forum have given me cards in the past and also taking away some but I still think this site is great for trading or just chatting with some fellow card collectors and others. The betting forums are not all this forum is about so I do not think that this forum should become a "Adults Only" site. Thanks.

You are misunderstanding what was meant in the suggestion of an adults only forum. It wasn't meant for the entire site but just the betting forum.

Anymore, buying sportscards is gambling & should only be allowed by adults.

Unless you are just in the hobby to make money, buying cards is in no way gambling.

Well said! For those of us who are in this HOBBY of collecting cards, buying cards is not the same as placing a bet. When bettors place bets, they risk losing assets. When I buy cards to enrich my collection, I am not risking a single thing...

I know BGray looked into this when he had the site. I'm sure if it was found to be illegal, he would have removed it. I think it has to do with the fact that is no set in stone value for sports cards, only a "guide" that is widely used.
