Again, for the final time (because I am sick and tired of explaining common sense to people that know better). The Sec. of State receives MANY requests from MANY embassies all the time. They cannot send extra military to every embassy that MAY be attacked on 9/11. You are living in a fantasy land if you think they can or should. You haven't provided PROOF of anything. All you have done is shown your bias once again by ignoring common sense to attack the Dems.

First, I find it hard to believe that they receive MANY request from MANY embassies all the time. Very few embassies are in hostile, war-torn areas. I have seen no evidence that security request are commonplace.
A group of approximately 300 men carrying assault rifles and grenade launchers while flying the Al Queda flag in front of the consulate just weeks before the attack should get a bit more attention that the average request for an increase in security.
Minimizing the obvious threat and acting like it was just an average, normal, run-of-the-mill request is nothing more than making an excuse for their failure. Other consulates may request a beef up in security, but I doubt if many of those consulates also have the CIA saying they need to increase security. This was obviously more than the average everyday request.
