Is this Ebay user a know shill bidder?

I was going to place a bid on this item, and noticed that the bidder with a feedback score of 186 seems to be a shill.

Is anyone familiar with this seller, and does anyone know if they have a reputation for this?

97% activity with that seller, my hunch would be that it is shill biding.

Buyer/Bidder eBay user ID is runinnga0

and has 2 more current bids with the seller as well as 2 other bids. Other activities show a behaviour of buying more than one card with varying sellers, about 12-15 different sellers, reoccurring over time to 2011.

Tough to say it's a shill when you look at the bidders feedback. It is suspicious.

Rule of thumb........Never bid on any cards that have 12 or more bids.

I'd be careful and would never bid more than you are willing to pay. It's a beaut of a card. I just wouldn't let a shill put you out of your comfort level.

That said, from what I can see, the seller runs a box/case breaking site and a lot of his 'sales' are back and forth with other 'box breakers' (based on the names leaving feedback for him). The guy centrehice pointed out isn't the one I'd worry about, though. The bidder below him has 9% of his 532 bids in the last 30 days with this seller (only 1 on this item) to go with his 39 bid retractions in the past month and 217 retractions in the past 6 months.

Not to mention there is already one bid retraction...

This auction (potentially the seller) seems a bit shady...

Never bid on a card with more than 12 bids? That's a silly rule of thumb IMO.

It means too much money spent. Not silly at all.

That is a $125.00 card and not a penny more.

He listed a scratched Taylor Hall Cup RPA /99 redemption before... You were just getting the redemption. Does seem a little suspicious...
