Question on eBay and redemptions?
Hey everyone!
I had a question and was wondering if someone could help me out.
I am selling a pretty high end redemption on eBay right now. When it sells, am I ok to send the redemption code through the eBay Message Center? If a person decides to dispute the transaction would eBay and PayPal rule in my favor because I can prove I sent them the code through the Message Center? Anyone with any advice / experience in this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

One of the biggest scams on eBay is sending codes. Do not do it. There is no protection from eBay/PP and you will lose every time. Just send the card the way eBay rules, and insured it and don't take the HUGE risk.

I'd personally just send the card unscratched and have the buyer redeem the redemption.

Lately, most of my cards are selling in Canada and the only way to be protected by eBay / PayPal is to send through UPS with signature confirmation which is $25 to $35. It isn't a problem specifically with this card but I was just wondering.

What province is the winning bidder from? If its from Quebec, something like that must be done.

The redemption hasn't sold yet. I've just recently sold another card to New Brunswick. What would be the best way to ship that card so I'm protected? This is the first time I've sold very high end cards on eBay to another country.

To be really safe, express mail from USPS. Its $30 but its 100% trustworthy and does include tracking.
