    Would these packs be searched?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=8754528099

I'm just curious, how often on ebay are the packs searched or like "tested" for GU cards? Thanks.

I would say you would have a 99.99999999999999999999 % chance of pulling all BASE CARDS!!!!

    Ok, 100% chance!!!

The guy got his 3 hits, and pawns of the rest for some sucker, classic Ebay pack sale for ya!!
I guess once in awhile you get more than the average # of hits in a box, but it's to scare to waste good $$ on it.

Tip: Never bid on loose packs unless you're prepared to be disappointed.

Interestingly enough I am not sure if they are totally void of inserts. if you look at his other auctions all the autos he has are ones with the GU piece, maybe he only knows how to get those out? and the regular scripts autos are still there? Might not be a terrible risk for a cheap price like that.

If you can get them for cheap and want to build the set or are just looking for base cards then go for it. Not sure that you are but I figure that the only time I plan on buying loose packs off ebay is if I can get some cheap like these and I am already building the set because it can't hurt you in the least then.
