    Custom Entomology Cards

Hey guys, just wanted to show off a card I had made today. I've always liked the look on the Goodwin Entomology cards but I couldn't really find myself paying that much for one. So I decided what the heck, I've made custom cut cards before...let's try some bugs.

So after picking up some butterflies I threw together a design, and voila, I present to you the first card of my own Entomology series...the Gulf Fritillary!

Overall it was pretty fun. Let me know what you guys think!

How cool! Very nicely done! Do you have a clear cover over the bug or is it open to the air?

I've been playing around with a "relic" card that would feature a preserved ivy leaf from Wrigley and big name Cubs players. Still in the design phase though so nice to see something similar executed. Nice job!

Excellent stuff! Really enjoyed the look.

The clear cover idea is smart. Did you just use a soft sleeve cut to size?

Very nice design. Looks like the start of a fun collection to build.

    Looking forward to more.

Yeah it's kind of a soft sleeve material, a littler firmer though.

Made a new one last night. Things are becoming much cleaner, definitely happy with the way things are progressing.
