Is this a good deal?
I plan on spending $150 on football cards and this is what ive found:
2005 Donruss Throwback Threads Football Hobby Box - BPP ! 57.95
2005 Upper Deck Rookie Premiere Football Hobby Set (Box) 6.00
2005 Playoff Absolute Memorabilia Update Baseball Hobby Pack 34.00
2005 Upper Deck Reflections Football Hobby Box - BPP 63.95
Im normally a baseball card collector but im a huge football fan, so to break myself in i thought why not buy some football cards. these will be my last box purchases for a little while so i would like to spend it wisely. please let me know if there is a better way to spend the money (meaning other products) or if this sounds good. thanks

If i were you id get a Topps Prestige pack or box These are always nice cards and you can get your money back in one card

I wouldnt buy reflections. Everything in those are low end, and not worth much. Maybe a nice box of Sweet Spot? Playoff Honors is also nice. Or you could do for the big hit in SP Authentic.

Throwbacks is an ok product. Opened a couple of packs and got:
Champ Bailey Jersey Card
Adam Pacman Jones Throwback Jersey Card
Andrew Walters Pig Pens Autograph
Micheal Vick Diamond Kings Card 5/10
And that was a couple of packs out of a box. So I think this product is definetly under the radar. Sp Authentic IMO save the money. Not worth it if you dont hit a jersey. Opened two 1 jersey (Arrington) Auto and saw one opened (Clarrett) Jersey Auto. The SforS and SOFTT autos also seem to be lame. Also glad read Vikings take on Reflections will stay away for sure now and may have to hit Sweet Spot box. Keep in mind these boxes should be coming down quite a bit soon cause dead season is upon us. So wait it out if you can.
