    88 Topps Help

I have had some free time and I am working on some cards / templates for the upcoming (End of January) 'Reds Caravan'. I have always been a big fan of the '88 Topps, partially because it was one of the first sets of cards that I had collected. I really want to stick with the feeling of cards from that ear and was wondering if anyone knew how to print cards like they were from is era... Basically I do not want the "Glossy" style. Any insight would be much appreciated!

For some of my vintage-y cards, I put a bunch on a Word document page and have it printed at Office Depot on a glossy card stock. Obviously, its glossier than regular card stock but not as thick. And it is not as glossy as photo paper. Then I adhere regular card stock to the back. Smooth like late '80s card on the front, a tad rougher on the back.

There is some slight quality loss in the photo being printed in this way compared to photo paper but I think that gives it the older, vintage-y feel too.
