i would say neither, He is very conservative, just for the fact He left it up to you and did not force anyone.

But i would hope in any perfect world those programs would not be needed. If you vision of perfect includes poor and disabled, then it is not the same as mine.

Then yours is not conservative. If it were, the conservative party in America would not be fighting for the rich to get richer. Just like these programs, that money has to come from somewhere too. I guess what I don't understand is owners complaining about less profit. That may sound weird but to me, less profit is still profit, and when you're talking multimillion dollar profit margins, they can take a hit. I'm not against making money. I'm not against making as much as you can. I'm against doing it on the backs of workers, sending their jobs to China for MORE profit and then complaining that taxes are why there are no jobs. That's a lie. The constant need for more than what they've already got is why there are no jobs. These guys only give when it suits them, ie: when they need the write off. Forcing them is the only way to get money to the people who did the work in the first place Anne then got tossed aside like used rags. Yes, many take advantage and obviously people are greedy, rich or poor. But if you just take it away, as per the true conservative dream, you hurt those who really do need help.

Yep, I'm pretty sure Christ wasn't encouraging his followers to turn over their money to Rome so the Romans could use it as they saw fit.

He wouldn't encourage business to screw over their employees just because they can either.

He could care less about what you do or don't do with your money

wickabee, perhaps it is about not wanting the poor to get richer of the back of workers, let them do some work themselves. (of course there are always exceptions)

And maybe it is about not wanting the workers to become the poor.

so because the "rich" get a tax break, and the government overspends by trillions, the rich are responsible for people being poor?

you can find a few ad apples anywhere, but if you think the rich getting a tax break is the result of all this, I would say look at the tax on corporations, and why companies are leaving the US. I would say look at the 9 week vacation packages and other benefits of government and some union employees and their pay versus the private sector. I would look at who and what we fund, crazy waste and fraud in the military and welfare programs.

the rich couldn't all chip in every penny they make and pay for little more than a week of government spending, they could help, but they are not all the evil scrooges you would like them to be.

this is REAL CHURCH, all the socialist crap some of these supporters try to spew to others only makes sense when there is no truth surrounding their or supporting their statements.

Who said anything about a tax break? I'm talking about taking advantage of uneducated labourers. You'll never get me to say politicians aren't overpaid. You'll never get me to say there aren't multiple redundancies within government at all levels. I don't know where exactly this came from, or what it's a response to, but at least you've got one fan. Seems a pretty classy guy, too. Lots to say.

I would love to say how I feel about Malkin, but I don't want to be banned.

The article by default is not worth a second of my time.
