Is anyone here setting up at a table this year?

The answer would be no!
Had several inquiries and no one wanted to commit to setting up as I, members, and other folks have paid for the SCF table without any help from the site the last few years. If ever one person wants to commit to setting up I will pay the whole table fee in advanced so a table can be secured. So if your ever interested in setting up drop Me a line. It pretty affordable when you split a 10 x 10 foot set up between four people .

MEMORY LANE TO DISPLAY D'BACKS COLLECTION OF RARE HIGH-GRADE VINTAGE CARDS AT 34TH NATIONAL
COLLECTORS CAN RECEIVE FREE CALENDAR AT MEMORY LANE BOOTH
Pieced together by Arizona Diamondbacks Managing General Partner Ken Kendrick, the collection includes some of the highest graded examples of the hobby’s most popular 20th century baseball cards. Collectors who view the ‘Dbacks Collection’ will also receive a free gift from Memory Lane.
Collectors attending this summer’s National Sports Collectors Convention in Rosemont, IL will have a chance to get up close and personal with some of the world’s best iconic baseball cards. Memory Lane Inc. is bringing the Dbacks collection, owned by team owner Ken Kendrick, to its booth at the show.
The collection features over 30 high grade examples including one of only three PSA 10 (gem mint) 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle cards. Kendrick has enjoyed sharing the cards with baseball fans, having displayed the collection at venues such as the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. The collection will be on display at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center from July 31-August 4 as collectors from around North America and beyond gather for sports collecting’s biggest annual show.
Collectors who visit the Memory Lane Booth #1001 can obtain a free wall calendar which showcases all of the cards in the collection.
The Dbacks Collection includes some of the highest vintage graded baseball cards known. It traces the history of baseball—and collecting—through the first six decades of the 20th century. The collection includes the only near mint-mint (PSA 8) T206 Eddie Plank, one of the hobby’s rarest cards and a key to the ultra-popular century-old set. Three other Deadball era heroes are also represented with PSA 9 copies of their T206 cards: Cy Young (portrait), Christy Mathewson (portrait) and Ty Cobb (bat off shoulder). There is a pair of Joe Jackson cards in the collection including his rookie card from the E90-1 set and a 1915 Cracker Jack card graded PSA 9.
Fans of high quality Babe Ruth cards won’t be disappointed. The Dbacks collection includes a 1916 Sporting News Ruth rookie card graded PSA 8, along with a 1927 E-126 Ruth, also graded ‘8’, and a 1933 Goudey #144 Ruth (PSA 9). One of just a few 1933 Goudey Nap Lajoie cards to reach a ‘9’ grade is part of the collection as well. Long-time hobbyists know that the card was intentionally left out of the ’33 set and issued only to frustrated collectors who wrote Goudey asking where card #106 was. A pair of 1934 Goudey Lou Gehrig cards, again graded mint 9, will have jaws dropping as will three mint Joe DiMaggio cards and a mint Jackie Robinson rookie.
The ‘golden era’ of the 1950’s is well represented with the 1952 Mantle, likely worth well into seven figures, gem mint 10 copies of the 1952 Topps Mays, 1953 Topps Jackie Robinson, 1954 Topps Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks and Al Kaline rookie cards and 1955 Topps Sandy Koufax rookie card as well as a mint 9 copy of the 1951 Bowman Mays rookie.
In addition to showcasing the remarkable Dbacks collection, Memory Lane will be exhibiting some of the items it will have up for bid in its upcoming Summer Auction and the company is still taking consignments. As an incentive, Memory Lane will be giving away free five-day passes to the National Sports Collectors Convention to anyone who consigns items valued $2,500 or more.
To consign your high quality cards and memorabilia to the auction and/or receive a free catalog when it becomes available, contact Memory Lane Inc. at (877) 606™-5263 or visit their website.Last edited by doniceage; 07-16-2013 at 03:53 PM.
