I have to say it is mine too. When these cards came out I always wanted one and it didn't happen until I joined this site. Mine too has tons of puck marks and part of a logo. I also have a Koho glove that was made for Irbe with the same logo on it. Irbe used this piece on his glove with Vancouver into his Carolina days before changing the cuff of his catcher to the one pictured on the card.

It's hard to pick a favorite from my collection but I'll go with this one:

The Gaborik "Get Real" Meigray tag from this set identifies the jersey this patch came from as a one-game-wonder worn in October of 2009 against my favorite team, the Maple Leafs. Gaborik scored a goal and an assist wearing this jersey. Knowing exactly what jersey the patch is from and when it was worn makes cards like this so much more valuable to me, the fact it's numbered out of only four copies helps too!
Some honorable mentions (only because I can't pick one favorite) cut from the same jersey are these nameplate letters:

I like eTopps cards for some reason. Maybe because it was such a fun idea, something totally different. Haven't got around to picking up all of them for my PC players though.

Hahaha, oh man that card brings back some memories. A kid in another class had it and brought it to school on a Monday, where it disappeared. That week was INTENSE. While the teachers and administration did what they usually do in that situation, every little group that hung out became a detective posse. "Hits" were put out on kids who were suspected on stealing the card, and several kids got beat up (one beat up his "assassin" though).
Man, that card caused some problems. The funny thing is, I can't name a single Habs fan I went to school with. It was just the fact it was an odd card and therefore had much value.
I miss those days...

This one:

Back in 1992 hockey cards were really difficult to find in the UK.
In the back of a UK hockey magazine (PowerPlay I think), there was adverts to buy cards. I decided I wanted this one, got my mum to write a cheque and sent off for it (Ł1.50 I seem to recall).
6 months later and I'd forgotten all about it, and then one day a PWE turns up at my house with US stamps on it and finally, the card had turned up!
It was pride of place in my small collection as a 15 year old, and still is in a toploader to this day. I will one day get a graded one, but this will do me for now.

I don't have the card with me right now (it's at my apartment where I go to University, I'm currently home for the summer now) but my favorite card is a 1999-00 UDMVPSC Sheldon Keefe Rookie Card. The reason the card is my fav is a longer story. My high school calculus teach played one game in the NHL (with the Leafs; his career was ended when Chris Chelios of all people low bridged him and he had to get major knee surgery). In addition to being a high school math teacher, he used to be the assistant coach of the local jr A hockey team (Pembroke Lumber Kings). Keefe owns the team, and was the head coach of the team before taking the same job with the SSM Greyhounds earlier this year. My teacher got the card autographed, and it is a beautiful card. It's worth infinitely more in sentimental value as opposed to BV, but it's still a great looking card and the story behind it is a lot of fun.
Sidenote: my calc teacher coached PJ Stock soccer in high school in the late 90's, coach Dainius Zubrus on the Lumber Kings as well, and played hockey at Cornell with Joe Nieuwendyk! The man has connections lol :p

My favourite card is this one:

Back in 1992 I was 13 years old, and the Toronto Maple Leafs' AHL team was based in St. John's, Newfoundland where I was born (I now live in Clarenville, NL). At that time, Kent Manderville played on that team.
My uncle was waiting at the St. John's airport for a family member to arrive from out of town. He was in the gift shop when Kent Manderville wandered in (the team was waiting to leave on a road trip). My uncle struck up a conversation with him and mentioned that I was a Leafs fan. Kent spots the card shown in a display case and speaks to the person behind the counter. He signs the card, gives it to my uncle and tells him to give it to me.
The next year, my high school science teacher went to a St. John's Maple Leafs game and said he'd get me an autograph. After the game he knocks on the dressing room door. Guess who answers it? Yup, Kent Manderville! The teacher asks for an autograph and explains who it is for. Kent smiles and says 'he has cerebral palsy, right? Tell him to keep going and to never give up!' and gladly signs a ticket stub, which I also still have.
I just wish I could thank Kent Manderville for giving me one of my dearest memories :)
