The Myth of the Constitutional Republican
I’ve said for a while now that Republicans really don’t love our Constitution, they only love what they wished it was. It’s not uncommon to hear Republicans proudly boast about their resolve to protect the “Constitutional” way of life, but based on what? They’ve shown time and time again that they have no issues supporting measures that either have proven to be unconstitutional or seek to infringe upon rights that have been ruled Constitutional.

I'm not a republican, and the fact that's your response is hilarious. Let's not talk about what the poster said, let's just call everyone republicans because they don't agree with me!

Michael you really gotta stop posting links to articles written by idiots...
1) "They claim this nation is a Christian nation" - Well, this has nothing to do with the Constitution. Nearly every poll conducted over the last 50 years has somewhere between 80% and 90% of the American population claiming to be Christian. Last I checked, a majority of a population belonging to one group makes that population identified with that group. We call Iraq a Muslim country because 97% of it's population is Muslim. Is that incorrect too?
It would also be pretty idiotic to claim that the country wasn't formed by Christians. While arguments can be made in regards to whether or not the founding fathers were Christian, the Declaration of Independence clearly uses the terms God and Creator and since Islam, Judaism and Hinduism had yet to establish themselves in the colonies, it is hard to argue what god or creator that were speaking of other than the Christian version.
2) Abortion - Liberals can defend their right to murder their babies all they want, being against abortion has nothing to do with being Constitutional.
3) Marriage - See #2. Marriage is not a Constitutional right. Your position on gay marriage in no way qualifies you as pro or con the Constitution.
4) Immigration - See #2. Illegal immigration is not a Constitutional right.
5) Health Care - This is become repetitive. Health care is not a Constitutional right. Being for or against a national health care bill has zero to do with being Constitutional.
I repeat. Article = idiot author.
