1997-98 Beehive Box Break

Gotta love Wally World - 30 bucks for a chance at a hard-signed auto of The Rocket? That's a ticket I'll play any day.

I did end up getting a pretty good box over all - had two rookie autographs of Pierre Dagenais (I remember a time when quite a few Habs fans were big on him LOL) and Aren Miller. Not too shabby for a 1:12 insert ratio!

Best rookie pull was one Roberto Luongo!

Also had the following inserts:

Golden Originals: Bower, Bucyk, Lindsay
Beehive Gold Team: Joe Sakic (these are apparently 1:49)
Beehive Team: Pat LaFontaine
Golden Portraits: Marty Brodeur, Sergei Fedorov, Brendan Morrison, Geoff Sanderson

And on three occasions did I see the card back and #61, who is of course, The Rocket. No autograph luck, but there was a Golden Portraits and two Golden Originals.

All in all, a very fun break. If anybody wants or needs any of the base cards, just give a holler and we can work out something. I got most of the big names: Gretzky, Roy, Jagr, Lindros, etc.

I love this set picked up a couple at the local walmart a while back got a Johnny Bower auto. Still can't find the oversized top loaders for them yet thou
