    Who is a computer expert?

    I have a desktop PC that was originally loaded w/ Windows Vista. I received a free copy of Windows 8 thru Microsoft Expert Zone, and thus installed it. However, I hate it. If I set my PC back to factory default, will it go back to Windows Vista, or has everything been overwritten by Windows 8?

    I'm not sure factory default is the way to go, I would say maybe a restore point if there is one still available before you changed windows....

    did you format before or did you do an overlay?

    windows 8 can be a pain, but you can modify it, just do some googleing and you can find how to change things to better suit you.
