Help?
So, I am an aspiring SCF Matt Cooke Super Collector.
Just one problem.
Beckett and the SCF Inventory have different numbers as to how many cards he has.
.....anyone know a definite number of how many pieces have his name on it?

Don't know the answer to your question, but I gotta ask, why Matt Cooke?

Because he was once a punk...but look at him.
He said he would turn his game around, and he did.
Gotta respect him.
Many don't, but I do.

I don't think you can ever really get a definite number of cards that a player has. SCF Inventory is missing quite a few cards still and Beckett doesn't have everything by any means. I would think Beckett is the most complete you'll find in a one-stop inventory site.

Actually SCF has a lot of cards that Beckett doesn't list. For the stuff I collect I know SCF has a more comprehensive inventory than Beckett.Hidden Content

Oh, fair enough. I looked up my players on SCF and there were more than a handful of common cards missing from each. Guess it varies a bit.

HockeyDB only has 42 cards listed for Matt Cooke. Part of the deal with player collecting is finding the information from multiple sources and cross referencing the list, thus making my own checklist. I use excel to do this work. I don't think I have found any one resource to be definitive on these things.
There are minor sets and team sets that are often not listed in the others that you can find. For instance, HockeyDB lists the following for Matt Cooke:
Common Minor sets
1995-96 415 Slapshot - OHL
1997-98 22 Bowman CHL
1998-99 11 Bowman CHL
Team Sets
1999-00 2 Syracuse Crunch - Split Second [AHL]
2003-04 17 Vancouver Canucks - Postcards [NHL]
Good luck!
