Forum upgraded to version vBulletin 4.2.1 last night
We successfully upgraded the forum to vBulletin 4.2.1. last night. Since we had a issue with the new line feed in post in IE10 and that this version was said to fix this, we decided it was time to make the upgrade. Note that this bug was only in WYSIWYG forum editor version and now the line feed work for a new line so this is fix but will not let you do multiple new empty line. Adding a space, let you add more new empty line. So not perfect but this is out of our control.
The usercp link is still on the top right just before log out but is called settings. Might as well leave it like this since they changed the appellation a while back and each upgrade this change back from usercp to settings. But it's the same link.
If you have any issue please post about it, in the forum feedback section.

gotta ask, why? was the one bug really worth upgrading? every time we upgrade, we lose tons of members who don't like the changes...hope its worth the upgrade...

There is no visual change really or functionality. It for bug fix and security patch that we upgrade. This is what we call a minor upgrade and yes, we do have to upgrade from time to time. Because it does fix some bugs that members complain about. The issue is that we have to fix some stuf and always take a day or two to find and get those fix. For instance all was well but new version of browser bring bugs that were not there and nothing we can do really other then upgrade to get the fix.

Not possible since these pages are not part of VBulletin but add on so a VB update can't have modified these pages. I also did transaction since the upgrade with no issue.
