can Syracuse Orangement repeat?
Naturally, after the few minutes of celebration, the inevitable question arises:
Can Syracuse repeat.
So, will Carmelo Anthony leave early for the NBA?
I don't see to many Syracuse games being on West Coast, except for what was shown in NCAA play-offs.
My vote for the winner next year is, naturally, my alma mater
UCLA!!!!!

If they don't have Carmelo I do not think they would have a chance. I do not see any reason for him to stay, hell hes going out on top!

Carmello is gone being at worst, the #3 pick overall in the draft. At least I can say with confidence that Pitt this year was definitely better than the national champs.

Hey Iggy, I agree with you but I will say that it seems that Syracuse has gotten better as the season has gone on.

They didn't get better, teams just either didn't have the talent to play them right, or just failed in the gameplan. In Pitt's 2 games against Syracuse, they went 1-1 winning 73-60 (Anthony 6-15 14pts) and losing 67-65 (Anthony 4-11 14pts). Maybe some of these schools should have given Ben Howland and the staff a call and foud out how to play them.

yes, but what about the back problem he is currently experiencing?
I am sure it's not a chronic thing...but back spasms are not predictable.
I got 2 words: GRANT HILL
once very desirable....now, you and I are as valuable as Hill is.
As a matter of fact, I dare say we are more valuable, since no one is paying $100M to occupy a seat on the bench.
But from what I've seen of Carmelo, which is not much at all, he's got some nice court sense and moves..stuff you can't teach.

I don't think they have a chance next year without Carmelo Anthony. He carried them throughout the tournament. Without him they can't hang with the big schools like Duke and so forth that get great players every year to replace the ones that have left.

Being an Orangeman fan I have to say it was great to finally see that school win a National Championship. But also without Carmello coming back in the fall I say their chances of repeating is slim to none and slim is on vacation.......

No way. That was basically a one man team last year, and they didn't get anyone to replace him.
