It's the time of year where the card companies roll out "high-end" products to cap off the year as they won't release products with the new crop of rookies until the NFL Draft. Supreme is supposed to be one of those products, but really it is just high priced versus small reward. Each pack contains 1 base (numbered to 170) and two parallels (numbered to 112 or less) along with an auto or relic. Good luck to any set collector that attempts the base set because it will not be an easy task. While the design is neat in having the players featured with the shield in the background (which matches the Supreme logo), it still lacks for a product with four cards in a box.

There are five parallels and no inserts. Each of the parallels are serial numbered to 112 or less. Nice touch by Topps not to mention the Blue (Sapphire) or Purple (Violet) parallels on the back of the box, only the harder to find parallels.

As mentioned, each box/pack yields one auto or relic. There are numerous goodies to find in Supreme. Outside of your typical hits, there are booklets, autographs with up to eight players as well as a personal favorite, the Autograph Team Logo Patches. A heavy dose is given to rookies, but the veterans and legends do have their place. But I can't pass up the chance to say how deflating it would be to drop this kind of money for one "hit" and it turn out to be a redemption. Just a shame!
