Newbie from Michigan

Hey guys, thanks for having me on your forum. I am Tom from SE Michigan, Detroit suburbs. I am trying to get back into the hobby after many many years away. Right now I am just trying to gain a focus on what to collect, and I figured a forum such as this is as good a place to start as any. My first love is baseball, more specifically the Tigers. I am most likely going to start with them, though I have so many interests that I could head off on a tangent at any time. I just picked up a 73 Topps Bill Freehan today, so I am on my way. Why this card you ask ? If you look closely at the picture, Freehan is tagging a runner out at home with his glove, yet the ball is in his non-glove hand. I met him at a card show as a kid, and he pointed that out to me (even told me the ump called the runner out). Since then it has been one of my favorite cards. Thats my little story for the day, haha, again thanks for having me.
