    Michael Brown's Dad Being Investigated

Brown's stepfather didn't hold back as news of a grand jury's decision not to indict Officer Darren Wilson reached Ferguson. As throngs in front of the Ferguson Police Department listened to St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch's announcement on cell phones and radios, Louis Head stepped onto a platform above the crowd and embraced his wife, Brown's mother. He then turned to the demonstrators -- some of them shouting "F--- the police!" -- and yelled, "Burn this motherf---er down!" and "Burn this ™™™™™ down!"

His comments drew widespread attention in the aftermath of the violence as a video of his reaction, recorded just after McCulloch's announcement, circulated online.

Good, I hope they arrest that idiot.

He is causing people to riot.

He can try and explain it away as just raw emotion all he wants. To me, the fact that he asked for the microphone (which they didn't give to him thankfully) shows his true intent of the comments. Still not sure they should prosecute though. PR nightmare awaits them if they do, and the chance of conviction is very remote.

Interesting. When I first posted the link the title of the article was "Michael Brown's Dad Being Investigated" and now it is "Michael Brown's stepfather apologizes". Exact same article, new title.

For the record, it is the step-father, not the dad.

He obviously didn't do anything to calm things down. However, I just see them prosecuting him. I'm of the opinion that the riots would have happened either way... even if he had been up there calling for calm and peaceful protests. Not that it should be a reason to not prosecute a person, but can you imagine the scene if they do bring charges against him?

I wish they would bring charges against him, all the looter/rioters, and all witnesses who said brown was running away.

Almost all recanted/altered their initial statements when it came time to make them official.

Because they knew they were wrong and faced false report charges.Only then did they recant. But by then the damage was done and emotions were beyond repair.
