With American Idol hometown girl Jax coming home today my town of East Brunswick will be a mob scene later. Yesterday our Mayor gave the lowdown and there will be a parade on today Friday so that means streets will be blocked and then a show at night where Jax will perform and then have an autograph session. East Brunswick will be a mob scene so I am not sure if I should try to see her because I have our home opening game Friday also for the Somerset Patriots. Will have to see what time allots. Even still its great for us and great for Jax and the other finalists.

I wound up going to the Patriots home opener instead of seeing Jax as the times did coincide. But I did have friends who went and said it was very crowded and everyone had a great time.
Between Jax doing Good Day NY then hours of parades and a concert then local parties at different restaurants around town she put in a long day. I hope she at least makes it to number 3.

American Idol jumped the shark when Simon left but cool that you have someone local making it towards the end. One of the top 4 of The Voice is a local kid and there are signs all over the place and had a parade and pep rally for him last week at the local speedway where he showed up and performed a couple songs.

That is cool that Jax is from your hometown. She did great on the show, I am sure she will (probably already has) signed with a company!
