it selling less cause the one you got is the class marks INSERT auto....the ones /199 are the BASE rookie autos

wouldn't the insert be a more rare card esp. since it is #'d to 50 while the other is 199

btw there is a non #'d also...wouldn't that be the base

more "rare", yeah, there are obviously less made....more valuable?? nope

the class marks set auto set is an INSERT with variations just like a base set has....the silver /50 is simply a parallel of the insert

interesting...i am a newbie to all the parralell stuff but it seems weird that something harder to aquire is worth less than something much easier to aquire

sorry man....a base auto rookie is a TRUE rookie card...insert autos aren't, so they carry a much higher demand, thus the prices are much higher, reguardless of the print run....look at playoff contenders....a BASE ronnie brown rc/auto is #/550 and books $175....the contenders ROY auto is worth $120 and has a stated print run of 25!!! its not a TRUE rookie card

There is some debate as to what a 'TRUE rookie card' is but for the most part monkey is right, People are getting tired of all the inserts and parallels and much prefer the base card in some cases, like this one.
