I'm young again!!!! Thanks to some SCF generosity!!!!!

Hahaaaa just kidding, everything hurts and I pray each night for Jesus/Allah/Buddha to take me in my sleep.........

    BUT.............

I give away cards every now and then, mostly base or cheap inserts, sometimes something not so cheap but hey, if it belongs with someone else then it belongs with someone else. I usually just ask people to pay it forward and hopefully the SCF hockey world is a little better place because of it (he said smugly)......

Sometimes though, they pay it back :)

Paul (ravens_creed) is one of those guys. Over the last couple years I've sent him some stuff, I honestly can't really remember what other than a Charlie Conacher memorabilia card and a copy of The Man In the High Castle, by Philip K. Dick. If you haven't read this book, READ THIS BOOK!! "Grampa, what's a "book?" you might ask..........and to you I say, "come here so I can shove your tablet up your butt"

Anyways, one day after my birthday, I get a package from Paul in the mail. At first glance I said to myself "Self, what the heck.........???" except with slightly saltier language. On either side of the insides were pages of 2009/10 UD Victory Update rookies..........

    The whole set!!!!!!1! Oh dear.

And then the in-between included these "gems"........

Hahahahahaaaa, enough insults. Here's the good stuff................

All I have to say about this is that it looks like the same piece of stick, except one is on a slightly different angle. But if Upper Deck says it's a piece of stick from each player well that's good enough for me, yessir!!!!!

I had no idea Dick Irvin signed cards, I had no idea this card existed, this card is AWESOME!

    A Bossa-Shows custom 9/9, six HOFer autos, TOTALLY a display piece :)

And last but not least, a Spring Expo redemption from ITG Lord Stanley's Mug, three of the finest players to ever play the game..........

Which goes REALLY nicely with the one I already own..........

And oh yeah, almost forgot this.............

An autographed picture of HOFer Chuck Rayner, RIP since 2002. Look at him, eyeing up the dame, big grin and all. Giggidy-gooooo!! Another HUGE display piece.

Thank ya Paul! That was over the top, over and above, beyond the pale, 110 percent and you really left everything out there on the ice/field/pitch!!!!

    Seriously, thank you :)
