U.S. Women's National Soccer Team captain Carli Lloyd did a book signing a few weeks back around the U.S. She happened to come to Chicago the weekend I was home from school. I got 1 book signed but no outside items as they were pretty strict. Still a great experience meeting the best USWNT player on the team.

Chicago Blackhawks vs. San Jose Sharks - United Center - UNOFFICIAL
Artemi Panarin - 1/1 Puck
Steve Konroyd - 1/1 Card

Wow it's been awhile with being gone at school. Finally home for winter break and made it to the Chicago Blackhawks for Artemi Panarin Bobblehead night. I was able to score a couple of bobbleheads and got former Blackhawks player and now studio analyst Steve Konroyd on a hockey card during an intermission appearance. After the game, I braced the cold (-10 degrees with windchill) and thought it was a lost night until Panarin rolls down his window and gives a perfect signature on a puck. I left after that due to the cold but getting Panarin was worth it.

Soldan: I dropped a picture of the Lovie autos I got earlier this year in that specific blog post. Sorry for the delay, didn't have the chance to get a picture until now.

I was in the area and tried to get Chicago Bulls players to stop and sign after their practice the other day. Did pretty good for only about an hour outside. I was able to get Taj Gibson, Bobby Portis, Michael Carter-Williams, and Isaiah Canaan to sign 1 8x10 photo each, Denzel Valentine to sign 2 8x10 photos, and head coach Fred Hoiberg to sign 2 basketball cards. Did not see any of the big players Wade, Butler, etc. but nice to add 5 players and the head coach nonetheless.

Chicago Bears Blood Drive - Niles, IL - OFFICIAL
Jordan Howard (Chicago Bears) - 10/10 8x10 Photos, 1/1 Football

The Chicago Bears hosted a blood drive and star rookie running back Jordan Howard was there meeting fans. Howard was awesome and one of the nicest athletes I have met to date. I had 10 8x10 photos but didn't want to ask him to sign all 10 at once so I only gave him 2 at first but then he said that he'll sign them all! The line was very short and there was a Target nearby so I went to Target, bought a football, and went back to the signing where he signed the football for me too. Very nice guy for a rookie, hopefully he stays that way in the future!
